River Valley Primary opened its doors in 2015. Our school has an outstanding reputation of dedicated teachers who help plant seeds of knowledge and curiosity to develop learner’s full potential.

The size of our school means every student is known as an individual. We pride ourselves in providing a safe, fun and academically rich environment that promotes intellectual, spiritual, emotional, social and physical growth.
Our enthusiastic and encouraging teachers help learners to develop a positive learning culture to achieve excellent academic results. In an effort to encourage interactive learning and communication, classrooms are equipped with technological equipment to assist in a high-quality learning experience.
We strive to promote a safe and positive school and learning environment and a warm and caring atmosphere for each student. Our school is committed to providing quality education from Grade R to Grade 7.

Registration
Process
- Parents/guardians must phone the office to inquire about space.
- Depending on the time of enrollment, an interview test might be necessary.
- Parents/guardians will be informed on the outcome of the test and whether the learner(s) can be admitted.
Please note
- Learner(s) will be assessed in the following subjects; English, Afrikaans and Mathematics.
- Parents/guardians will be informed on the outcome of each test and whether the learner(s) can be admitted.
- Parents will then receive the registration form to fill in and complete.
- A non-refundable registration fee is charged every year. All existing learners are expected to register every year.
School hours and aftercare
Start Time
School starts at 07:30, but there are personnel on gate duty every day from 06:30 to make sure all learners enter the school safely.
Aftercare
After school hours, there is aftercare available at an additional fee. Aftercare is from Monday to Friday during the term from 13:20 until 17:00.
Please Note
Aftercare is not available during the month of December after the school closes for Term 4.
